Accommodation Range:
We can offer any class of accommodation:
·Youth Hostel
(dormitories, bunk beds
accommodation) -
we will send a special leaflet on youth hostel regulations and booking conditions on request.
·Youth Guest House/Youth Centre
Similar
to youth hostels but of a sightly higher standard (4-6 beds or
bunk beds per room).
·Budget Hotel
2-4 beds
per room, washbasin in room with running hot and cold
water, shower/WC on floor/down the hall.
·Tourist class Hotel
1-3 beds per room, washbasin in room with running hot
and cold water, shower or bath on floor/or in room.
·Superior tourist class hotel/first class hotel and DeLuxe hotel
1-2 beds per room, with shower WC or bath/WC in room.
Please note:
Traditional hotels in
the tourist class category offer rooms with/or
without private facilities. Please state your
preference.
Prices differ according to room quality (with/without bath) and not so much according to numbers of beds per room. Price per person in a 4-bedded room with bath will be more expensive than in a 2-bedded room without bath.

Meals
Sometimes budget or tourist
class hotels offer just bed and breakfast. In this case,
booked lunches or dinners will
be taken in nearby restaurants. Please note that "breakfast" means "Continental breakfast". If you prefer the full American breakfast, please indicate in your request. Halfboard means Continental breakfast and a 3-course-meal (same as M.A.P.).
However, in youth hostels, dinners are mostly cold meals.
Simple 2-course-hot meals can mostly be booked on special
request. Lunches are mostly 2-course-hot meals or packed
lunches, depending on the daily
programme. Most youth hostels only take groups on a half or full board basis. We will send a leaflet on youth hostel regulations and booking conditions on request.

Transport
We
cooperate with reliable coach (bus) operators. Coaches are insured according to governmental regulations. Coaches are modern and air ventilated. There is a price difference for coaches with air condition - they are more expensive. Please indicate your preference. Kindly note that air conditioned coaches are normally necessary in the summer months only, or for tours to Southern European countries. We normally use coaches with 19-58 seats, jumbo size coaches can be negotiated. Train transportation especially for smaller group sizes can be arranged. Taking into consideration that normally buses are still needed for transfers and city tours it is mostly just as economical to use a small bus throughout.

Escorts / Courier
We can offer the following types of escorts:
· Professional Escorts
· Student Escorts (couriers)
They are suited for most groups as they do escorting
for a hobby
during their vacation or after their studies. Their enthusiasm and interest for the group makes up for the possible lack of experience they might have. They are not as costly as professional escorts but they are with the group all the time. They coordinate the evenings, so that groups learn a lot about the country and the people.
· City Guides for sightseeing
· Interpreters (for professional study tours)
Please note:
Escorts should be obligatory, if no German speaking leader is with the group.
