We have put together a collection of tours along the most beautiful rivers across Germany. Here's an example of one of our highlights.

The Moselle region is not only famous for its innovative winemakers, but also for its breathtaking scenery, full of castles, fortresses and quaint towns. One highlight follows another over a total of 248 kilometers and 10 stages. On the Moselle cycle path, the focus is not so much on sporting ambition, but rather on experience, stunning sceneries and enjoyment. What are you waiting for? Itinerary at a glance

Day 1

Welcome to Germany!

Arrival at Frankfurt International Airport and meet your private coach.

Upon request, a tour escort for your whole journey can be booked as an optional service.

Get transferred with your private coach from Frankfurt to your hotel in Trier.

After check-in, meet your local guide and participate in a guided walking tour through Trier (approx. 1.5 hours).

Depending on your arrival time, you might have time for another optional activity. 

Welcome dinner at a typical, local Winegrower's restaurant.

Overnight in Trier.

 

Day 2

Start cycling along the Moselle!

Breakfast at your hotel.

Check out and store your luggage at the hotel.

This morning you will have time to visit Kaiserthermen Trier.

After lunch (own arrangements), you will start cycling along the Moselle. It’s up to you, either you will bring your own bikes, or you can book optional rental bikes (21-/27-gears or electro assisted).

Today’s milestone will be Trittenheim (approx. 40 km). On the route you will pass Mehring, where you might want to make a stop at Villa Rustica before continuing your route.

Dinner on own arrangements.

Overnight in Trittenheim.

Day 3

Bike and boat!

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and grab your bikes again.

Today’s milestone will be Traben-Trarbach (approx. 50 km). On the route, you might want to make a quick stop at the colorful, diverse half-timbered structure on the picture book marketplace of Bernkastel-Kues.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy lunch (own arrangements).

In the afternoon, meet your local guide and visit a lovely vineyard before continuing to a wine cellar in Traben-Trarbach and participate in a wine tasting (approx. 1.5 hours).

Dinner on own arrangements.

Overnight in Traben-Trarbach.

 

Day 4

Off to Cochem!

Breakfast at your hotel, check out and store your luggage at the hotel.

Before getting on your bikes again, participate in a boat roundtrip (approx. 1 hour) to discover your current soundings from another view.  

If you prefer optional canoeing, we can either swap activities or we can also plan an extra day for it.

After lunch (own arrangements) you will continue to your next stage.

Today’s milestone will be Cochem (approx. 55 km). On your route, you might want to discover Enkirch, a jewel of Timberic half-timbered architecture, and Zell, the wine village. Take a worthwhile break in the small Beilstein, which proudly takes the nickname "Rothenburg an der Mosel“, and look forward to Cochem with its picturesque center and the old imperial castle from the 11th century.

Overnight in Cochem.

 

Day 5

“Deutsches Eck”

Breakfast at your hotel and check out.

This will be your last stage on your bike tour, so please enjoy it!

Head towards Koblenz with your bikes (approx. 50 km).

Make a stop at the medieval Eltz Castle to participate in a guided tour (approx. 35min).

Continue your bike ride along wine villages like Kobern-Gondorf and Winningen before the Moselle cycle path leads you to the Deutsche Eck in Koblenz. Enjoy the wide view of the magnificent Rhine Valley and look forward to a beautiful evening in Koblenz.

In the afternoon you will have time to visit Koblenz on your own or optional by a guided walking tour.

As it will be your last evening together, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Koblenz.

 

Day 6

Goodbye, Germany!

 

After breakfast, check-out.

Depending on your flight time, you might have time for a ride with the Koblenz cable car and a stroll through the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress (both optional).

Private coach transfer to the international airport Frankfurt am Main.
